He graduated from Anadolu University, Faculty of Pharmacy in 1992 as a pharmacist. The same year, she started the Master's program in the Department of Pharmacognosy, Anadolu University Graduate School of Health Sciences and was appointed as a Research Assistant. In 1993, he was assigned to the School of Chemical Sciences, University of East Anglia, Norwich, England with a YÖK scholarship for a Master's Degree, completed the Program in April 1995. He completed the doctoral thesis in 2000 and was appointed to the position as an associate professor in the Department of Pharmacognosy, Anadolu University, Faculty of Pharmacy in 2001. He conducted postdoctoral education and herbal drug research in the Department of Pharmaceutical Biology at the University of Regensburg, Germany between 2001-2003. He continued her duties as an Associate Professor in 2005 and as a Professor in 2010. She held various administrative and academic positions and boards at Anadolu University; He served as the Director of the Institute of Health Sciences in 2013 and as the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences between 2014 and 2017. He currently continues his academic studies and duties at Anadolu University.
